01
Open the Post section
Click the Post card on your main dashboard. This opens the post editor where you can create and publish directly to your Google Business Profile.
02
Choose your post type
Select from What's New, Event, Offer, or Product. Each type has slightly different fields — Offer lets you add a coupon code and expiry date; Event lets you add a date range and time.
03
Write your post text
Keep it concise — 100 to 200 words works best for Google posts. Lead with the most important information. Include a location reference ("visit us in Bhopal") and a clear action for the reader.
✏️
Post formula that works: Hook (what's new or exciting) → Detail (what, when, where) → Call to action (visit us, order now, call to book). Always end with something actionable.
04
Add an image
Posts with images get significantly more clicks. Upload a photo of the dish, offer, or event you're promoting. Google recommends images at 720 × 540px minimum, JPG or PNG format.
📸
No photo ready? Use a recent photo from your phone. A real, slightly imperfect photo of your actual food outperforms a stock image every time — authenticity builds trust.
05
Add a call-to-action button (optional)
You can add a button to your post: Book, Order online, Learn more, Sign up, Call now, or Get offer. Link it to your website, booking page, or phone number.
06
Publish or schedule
Click Publish Now to go live immediately, or click Schedule to pick a date and time. Your post will appear on your Google Business Profile in Search and Maps within a few minutes of publishing.
📅
Post frequency tip: Google Posts expire after 7 days (except Events and Offers). Aim to publish at least one post per week to keep your profile looking active and current.

01
Open AI Suggested Posts
Click the AI Suggested Post card on your dashboard (marked with a "NEW" badge). This is where you train the AI and view its generated post ideas.
02
Train the AI for your business
Fill in the training form with information about your business: your specialty items, your typical customer, your tone of voice, any upcoming events, and seasonal promotions. The more detail you provide, the better the suggestions.
🤖
Training prompt example: "We are Vikings Cafe, a café and co-working space in Bhopal. Our top sellers are cold brew coffee and loaded avocado toast. Our customers are young professionals and students. Tone: warm, energetic, and local."
03
Review the AI's suggestions
MagicBolt will generate 3–5 post ideas based on your training. Each suggestion is ready to publish or can be edited. Review each one for accuracy before accepting — the AI occasionally gets details wrong.
04
Accept, edit, or skip
Click Use this to move a suggestion to your Post editor, pre-filled and ready. Click Edit to tweak the text. Or skip it and ask the AI to generate a fresh set of ideas on a different theme.
05
Re-train for seasonal campaigns
Update your AI training before each season or campaign — Diwali, summer, new menu launch, etc. The AI adapts its suggestions to match whatever context you give it.

Write or accept a post as usual
Create your post in the Post editor — either from scratch or by accepting an AI suggestion. Once you're happy with the text and image, don't click Publish yet.
02
Click Schedule instead of Publish
Below the post editor, click the Schedule button. A date and time picker will appear. Select when you want the post to go live on Google.
🕐
Best times to post: Tuesday–Thursday between 8–10 AM or 5–7 PM tend to get the highest visibility for cafes in India. Avoid posting late at night or on Monday mornings.
03
Confirm and add to calendar
Click Confirm Schedule. The post will appear in your Schedule calendar with the date and post type marked. You can edit or cancel any scheduled post up until its publish time.
04
View and manage scheduled posts
Go to Schedule on your dashboard to see a full calendar view of all upcoming posts. Click any scheduled post to preview, edit, or delete it. MagicBolt will publish it automatically at the set time.
📋
Content planning tip: Spend 30 minutes at the start of each month planning and scheduling 4–8 posts. Use AI Suggested Posts to fill the gaps. This way your Google profile stays active without you having to think about it week to week.

01
Open Media from your dashboard
Click the Media card. You'll see all photos and videos currently on your Google Business Profile. Photos are sorted by date added.
02
Upload new photos or videos
Click Upload and select files from your device. You can upload multiple photos at once. MagicBolt will push them to your Google Business Profile automatically.
📐
Google's recommended specs:
Photos: JPG or PNG, minimum 720 × 720px, max 5MB
Videos: MP4 or MOV, max 75MB, max 30 seconds
Cover photo: 1080 × 608px (16:9 ratio)
03
Set your cover photo and logo
Your cover photo is the large image that appears at the top of your Google listing. Select your best interior or hero shot. Your logo should be square and clearly readable at small sizes.
04
Remove outdated or poor-quality photos
Select any photo and click Delete to remove it from your Google profile. Regularly remove blurry, dark, or outdated images — a gallery of 10 great photos outperforms one of 50 poor ones.
💡
Note: You can only delete photos that your business uploaded. Photos added by customers through Google Maps cannot be deleted by you — only flagged if they violate Google's policies.

What to photograph at Vikings Cafe

Signature drinks — cold brew, pour-over, seasonal specials. Shoot from above or at a 45° angle with natural light.
🥗
Food items on your menu — especially top sellers. Show the portion size and presentation clearly.
🪑
Interior seating areas during the day when light is best. Show both cosy corners and open co-working zones.
💻
Customers working (with permission) — shows the co-working vibe and attracts more of the same crowd.
🌃
Evening ambience — different lighting tells a different story. Show how the cafe feels at night too.
🎉
Events you host — open-mic, exhibitions, team lunches. These show community and life in the space.
📈
Photo impact on ranking: Google Business Profiles with more than 100 photos receive significantly more direction requests and website clicks than profiles with fewer than 10. Aim for 3–5 new photos every month.
