Note: The plans shown above are illustrative. Your actual plan details, pricing, and features depend on what you signed up for. Always check your Plans page in MagicBolt for your current entitlements.
01
View your current plan
Click Plans in the left sidebar of your MagicBolt dashboard. You'll see your active plan, renewal date, features included, and usage stats for the current billing period.
02
Upgrade your plan
On the Plans page, click Upgrade next to the plan you'd like to move to. You'll be shown a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle. Confirm to upgrade immediately — new features activate right away.
💡
When to upgrade: If you're regularly at your AI reply limit, want to use Keyword Ranking, or need to add a second location — the Growth or Business plan will unlock these.
03
Downgrade your plan
Click Change Plan and select a lower tier. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep all current features until then. You won't be charged a cancellation fee.
04
Update your payment method
Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Method. Click Update Card to enter new card details. MagicBolt uses a secure payment gateway — your card details are never stored on MagicBolt's servers.
05
Download invoices
All invoices are available under Settings → Billing → Invoice History. Click any invoice to download a PDF — useful for business accounting and GST records.

Topic 02

Adding team members & multiple locations

If you have staff who help manage your Google profile, or if you operate more than one business location, MagicBolt lets you manage everything from a single account.

01
Adding a team member
Go to Settings → Team Members → Invite User. Enter their email address and select their role — Admin (full access) or Manager (can post and reply, cannot change billing or plan). They'll receive an email invitation to join your account.
👥
Good to know: Team members log in with their own email and password. They see the same dashboard as you but cannot access billing or remove your Google connection unless given Admin rights.
02
Removing a team member
Go to Settings → Team Members, find the member, and click Remove Access. Their account is deactivated immediately — they will no longer be able to log in or view your dashboard.
03
Adding a second business location
Go to the location selector at the top of your left sidebar and click Add Location. You'll be prompted to connect another Google Business Profile. Each location gets its own dashboard, reviews, posts, and analytics — managed from the same MagicBolt login.
📍
Multiple locations require the Business plan. If you're on Starter or Growth, you'll be prompted to upgrade when you try to add a second location.
04
Switching between locations
Use the location dropdown at the top of the left sidebar to switch between your business locations. Each location has completely separate data — reviews, posts, rankings, and settings don't carry over between locations.

Topic 03

Website builder

MagicBolt includes a simple, built-in website for your business — automatically generated from your Google Business Profile. It's live at your Magic Link and acts as a professional landing page for anyone who clicks your review link.

01
Access the Website tab
Click Website in the left sidebar. You'll see a live preview of your MagicBolt micro-site as it currently appears to customers who visit your Magic Link.
02
Customise your website content
You can edit your business name display, tagline, hero image, contact details, opening hours display, and the call-to-action button text. Changes save and publish automatically.
🎨
What your website is for: This is not a full website replacement. It's a focused review-capture and info page. Its job is to get visitors to either leave a Google review or contact you — keep it simple and direct.
03
Share your website URL
Your website lives at your Magic Link (e.g. vcafe.magicqr.in). Add this URL to your Instagram bio, WhatsApp Business profile, email signature, and Google Business Profile website field for maximum reach.
💡
Can I use a custom domain?
Custom domain support (e.g. vikingscafe.com) may be available on Business plans. Contact MagicBolt support to check if this option is available for your account.

Topic 04

Disconnecting & reconnecting your Google account

Sometimes MagicBolt's connection to your Google Business Profile drops — usually after a password change or permission revocation. Here's how to identify the issue and fix it quickly.

1
Spot the issue
Red "Disconnected" badge appears on your dashboard
2
Go to Settings
Settings → Google Account → Reconnect
3
Re-authorise
Sign in to Google and grant permissions again
4
Confirm sync
Dashboard shows green "Connected" badge
🔴
Disconnected — what triggers it
Connection drops when you change your Google password, revoke MagicBolt's app permissions from your Google account, or when Google refreshes security tokens. It also drops if you remove MagicBolt as a manager of your Google Business Profile.
Dashboard → Red badge → Reconnect

🔗
How to reconnect step by step
Click the red Disconnected banner or go to Settings → Google Account → Reconnect. You'll be redirected to Google's permissions page. Sign in with the same Google account that owns your Business Profile and click Allow. MagicBolt will re-sync your data automatically.
Settings → Google Account → Reconnect
Required
⚠️
What happens to my data while disconnected
Your existing data in MagicBolt (past analytics, post history, audit scores) is preserved. However, the AI Agent stops replying to reviews, new performance data stops updating, and scheduled posts will not publish until you reconnect.
All automations pause while disconnected
Note
🔓
Intentionally disconnecting Google
To manually disconnect, go to Settings → Google Account → Disconnect. This removes MagicBolt's access to your Google Business Profile. You can reconnect at any time. Disconnecting does not delete your MagicBolt account or data.

🔑
Still can't reconnect? Check that you're signing in with the correct Google account — the one that has Owner or Manager access to the Google Business Profile. If you're unsure which account that is, go to business.google.com and check which email is listed as Owner. Contact MagicBolt support if the issue persists.
